Synopsis

Miss Bustier has organized a soccer game to introduce her students to the values of sport and the pleasure to play together. Marinette, who loves soccer, does her best to save the game, even though Chloe is determined to do everything to ruin the happy moment. Indeed, Chloe hates soccer. But when faced with an unfazed Marinette who includes her in the game against her will, Chloe’s anger reaches an all-time high. And she only hopes for one thing now… being akumatized so she can get revenge.

During a school soccer game, Chloé gets cloned into a team of supervillains. To defeat them, Marinette assembles a lineup of her own.

Plot
The episode begins at Parc des Princes, with Kim and Marinette as the team captains, choosing their teammates from Miss Bustier’s class for a game of soccer. Kim chooses Max to help him discover the best player to help win the match. Max’s robot, Markov, points out Alya, but she was unfortunately already chosen by Marinette. Markov continues to help Kim, but Marinette says it’s cheating. Chloé tries to leave the game, saying that it is obvious who the winner will be but is stopped by Ms. Bustier, who says that nobody will be leaving and nobody will be cheating. Mr. Didier, points out that whoever loses and wins is not important but instead, enjoying the game and playing together. Mr. Didier asks the class if there are any ways of making the teams more fair.

Alix suggests boys versus girls, an idea Kim immediately shoots down as he believes the boys’ team will lose once more. Alya shoots down Rose’s idea of selection based on alphabetical order of names of everyone’s teddy bears as she and Chloé are the only people in the class with teddy bears; something Chloe tried to deny she still owns. Marinette’s suggestion of drawing for it is cheered and agreed on by the class.

Meanwhile, Marc is dragging Nathaniel to where the class is as the artist asks Marc what is the point of playing soccer when he isn’t interested in the sport and fears hurting his hand. While Marc tries to tell him the wonders of soccer, Nathaniel isn’t convinced and asks Marc to come up for an excuse as to why he won’t be there. Marc tells Ms. Bustier and Mr. Didier an excuse as when Mr. Didier asks if he wishes to play. After impressing the class with some kicks with a soccer ball, Marinette hands Marc a bib and the game starts.

Chloé is the goalkeeper of the yellow team but she is more interested in taking selfies and forbids Sabrina to play soccer just when she is about to kick the ball in her goal. Marinette comes over to her and advises her not to listen to Chloé’s orders and that she can play if she likes doing it. Chloé rushes over and tells Marinette Sabrina only enjoys doing Chloé’s bidding.

Mylène uses this opportunity to kick the ball out of Sabrina’s reach while she is distracted. Mylène passes the ball to Ivan, who is afraid that he will hurt someone if he kicks it too hard. Rose comes out of nowhere and takes the ball from him and kicks it towards Marc, who kicks it past Kim and Nino. Marinette is about to kick the ball and is shocked when she notices Adrien in front of her and blushes. Nervous, she smiles awkwardly and kicks the ball to him. Nino asks Adrien to pass the ball to him as Adrien throws him the ball as Mr. Didier blows his whistle. He comes over and tells Adrien that only the goalie may touch the ball with their hands. Adrien apologizes and admit he is not very familiar with the rules of soccer.
